Ouch

Our first guest submission! From archivist (and drummer) Sarah Norris (http://www.beevsmoth.com/, New Music Co-op, etc), remains of squished insect found inside "Texas Court of Appeals Reports, vol VI," 1879, as reported by A.M. Jackson and A.M. Jackson, Jr. Is this an antique bug, or a new bug in an antique book?

Schopenhauer notes

Found in a paperback copy of "On the Basis of Morality"by Schopenhauer. I can't read this handwriting; maybe it's something interesting. From Wikipedia: "Schopenhauer settled permanently in Frankfurt in 1833, where he remained for the next twenty-seven years, living alone except for a succession of pet poodles named Atman and Butz."

Copious notes?

Found in "Derrida" by Christopher Norris. Between the lines, indeed.
